Development of Carbon Cultivation-Based Fuel Production Technology
The development of a CO₂-free hydrogen production process using biomass as a raw material is a medium to long-term objective. In the short to medium term, we will conduct research and development on a liquid fuel production process.
Development of Technologies for the Reduction of Greenhouse Gases and Wastes produced by Carbon Cultivation
We will develop technologies to mitigate the emissions of greenhouse gases such as methane and nitrous oxide generated in biomass production. Additionally, we will work on developing techniques to effectively utilize waste in carbon farming, thereby reducing waste volume.
Development of Evaluation Methods for Social Acceptability
We will develop a methodology for sharing the envisioned 'carbon cultivation society' as an ideal for society, and particularly from the perspective of the sustainability of the local communities where the technology will be implemented, we will conduct backcasting to assess technology development as socially acceptable.
